What is MailGuard?

MailGuard is an email verification tool for checking single addresses or bulk CSV/TXT lists before a campaign. It returns Passed, Failed, and Unknown results with a reason for each, so you can clean your list and export only what you trust.

Passed

The address passed the checks and looks deliverable. Uses 1 credit.

Failed

Invalid, non-existent, or rejecting mail. Uses 1 credit.

Unknown

No clear answer, often a catch-all domain. Free, so it uses no credits.

What does an email verification result tell me?

MailGuard reports passed, failed, or unknown results from its verification provider, alongside checks and flags. A passed result is not a guarantee of inbox delivery, consent, or future mailbox availability.

Which results use credits?

Passed and failed results use one credit per address. Unknown results use no credits. Duplicate addresses are removed from a bulk list before verification. Credits do not expire.

What can I upload?

Bulk verification accepts CSV and TXT files up to 10 MB. You can preview the list and select the email column before starting. Results can be exported by status.

How are uncertain addresses handled?

Catch-all domains and temporary server restrictions can prevent a conclusive answer. Review unknown results and their reasons separately rather than treating them as confirmed valid addresses.
